It is a children's picture book about a Panda who moves next door to some siblings, and one by one, he bonds with them through storytelling. The stories he tells are life lessons on learning to let go of things, taking things as they come, and being a kind person. Through these stories, they form a closer bond with Panda and can learn to get along better as siblings. This book was humbling and had some very good tales to share that can be carried lifelong. Zen Shorts ties into inclusivity by teaching children to be kind and understanding of one another. I also liked the color palette used for the book was true to the Japanese colors and exposed the reader to monk culture.
